Hair Product Favs

So I know this blog post is well over due and probably a thousand and one people have discussed this AMAZING line of hairstyle products however I will mention my love for it for you again!

I am talking about Moroccan Oil products; I have tried almost all the products in the line excluding some which I am probably going to get my hands on.  These products are no doubt expensive but you only need a small amount when using them, so they would last you a long time.

1. Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment
This is basically hair oil and you can put it in your hair either wet or dry.  Make sure to use it sparingly because a little does go a long way.  The smell is awesome and it leaves your hair feeling soft, smooth, silky and not oily looking at all.  I started realizing that my hair would fall out sometimes randomly so I thought to give it a try and it honestly does wonders to your hair.  It makes my hair feel stronger and hopefully it can strengthen it enough to help me with the issue.  This oil does not feel heavy in your hair and it does not make your hair look nasty that you have to take a shower after putting it on.

2. Moroccan Oil Intense Curl Cream, Moroccan Oil Curl Control Cream, Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Mousse, Moroccan Oil Luminous Hair Spray.

All four products are amazing! I used them to create the curly effect in my hair and literally everyone thought I had gotten my hair done.  The best part was my hair smelt amazing! I styled my hair effortlessly and I loved the end result.  I think styling hair isn't hard unless you do not have the right products that do the job well.  My hair did not feel crusty or stiff after applying the products and my hair also did not get frizzy which is a major plus since I used the products and also blow-dried my hair.

3.  Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask
I have not tried this product yet, but because I am satisfied with the results of the ones that I have purchased I am sure this will be no exception.

Keep me posted if you have tried any of their products :)
Take care lovelies <3

Makeup Travel Tips :)

What’s in my travel makeup bag?

Going on vacation is amazing but sometimes with the many weight limitations you need to think twice about what you are taking with you in your luggage.
I just got back from vacation and I wanted to show you the products I took with me, to give you an idea of how to pack when it comes to makeup.

1.     A Sturdy Makeup bag
I got my makeup bag from Mango, it has a really nice brown leather covering and inside its decorated with flowers.  I bought it while on vacation so I just stuck with it.  I originally brought a Sephora brand makeup bag which was vinyl so that if anything spilt the bag wouldn’t get ruined.

Face:
I brought the following face products with me.  I also attended a wedding function so I needed to make sure that I had sufficient makeup for those days.  Also keep in mind that if you are going to humid places makeup sure your makeup is waterproof, has an SPF of at least 30 and that you always keep blotting sheets or powder to pat your face.

-       - Hand Sanitizer (Bath & Body Works) always essential
-       - Travel Size Perfume
-      -  Colgate Wisps (these are mini toothbrushes which have toothpaste on them already, very small compact and refreshes breath, even great when on the go)

Najarali's Top 12 Drugstore Makeup Products

Hello Lovelies :)
I decided to do a countdown of my top 12 drugstore makeup products.  I actually have many drugstore makeup products but I decided to condense it to my top 12 that I reach for.  Enjoy :)

1. Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer 30ml
This is primer is amazing.  It actually has a dual purpose both as a primer and moisturizer.  The consistency is creamy and blends smoothly onto the face.  It doesn't clog pores; it's oil free and good for sensitive skin. The primer contains ingredients from the famous OLAY moisturizers, which is an amazing skin care line.

2. Covergirl Nature Luxe Liquid Silk Foundation Shade 340, 30ml
I have blogged about this foundation previously, but honestly it is a great foundation especially one which does not feel heavy on the face.  It blends easily and it has an SPF of 10, which is good for the summer months.  It has a silky, smooth consistency and it blends well.

3. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, Shade Light Beige 18g
This is a great foundation however you need to moisturize your face if you apply it.  The texture is literally like mousse and it absorbs nicely when applying.  It evens the skin and it looks natural on.

4. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, Shade Beige Medium 9g
This powder is literally a lifesaver because my skin often gets oily during the day.  If I am wearing liquid foundation I usually apply this right after as a setting powder and keep it with me just in case I need touch ups.  It mattifies your face and makes the oil disappear.  Even comes with a built in mirror and sponge!

5.  Revlon PhotoReady Concealer SPF20, Shade Light Medium
This is a stick concealer and I got it when I purchased the PhotoReady Powder so it came as a bonus.  The concealer is creamy and the shade is nice.  It blends well it hides redness and blemishes.  It didn't break me out which was a plus. I basically just dab it onto my face where I think I need extra coverage and it does the job well.

6. Rimmel London Blush Shade 003 Pink Rose, 4.5g
I honestly bought this blush because Wal-Mart was having a sale and it was $3 so I thought it couldn’t hurt if I bought it.  Needless to say, the pigmentation is awesome and the color gives a nice rosy touch to my cheeks.  It comes with a small brush however I do not use it.  This is such an amazing product for a drugstore brand.  I would probably go and try out other shades as well.

7. Physicians Formula Blush Happy Booster Collection, Shade Natural
I find Physicians Formula products to be on the pricey side as nothing is ever under $10.  However I heard a lot about this particular collection the "Happy" Collection that they came out with. Basically the blush is infused with Euphoryl, which is a plant, which induces happy feelings.  The blush smells delicious and it has hearts engraved into the powder, which makes everything nice.  The color payoff is great and it adds a nice pop of color to the cheeks.  It comes in three other shades.  This product also has a built in mirror and brush included.

8. Physicians Formula Bronzer Happy Booster Collection, Shade Light Bronzer
Similarly to the blush, this bronzer is also infused with Euphotyl plant.  The packaging is cute and pink and it makes me feel happy just by looking at it.  The product is easy to apply and it adds a nice sun kissed glow to the face.  Brush and mirror also included as well.

9.  Maybelline NewYork Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quad, Shade Natural Smokes
This is by far an amazing drugstore eyeshadow product.  I think I own like every quad that they carry which tells you a lot about how great they are and also how much I spend ;).  Anyways, the eyeshadow colors are awesome; they come in a variety of shades and looks to create.  The quad actually tells you where to put each eyeshadow so that you can create an awesome look.  One color is for the lid, next is crease, next is brow bone and next is outer corner.  The eyeshadows last the whole day and they are worth the price.  The colors compliment each other well and it is a great product for those of us who are beginners.

10.  Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara, Blackest Black
This mascara is by far one of those mascara's that does exactly what it's suppose to. It lengthens the lashes, it curls them and they look fuller.  At times I find that it gets too dramatic for the daytime as I don't like to look too overdone however it is amazing and I am happy with the results.

11. Maybelline One by One Volume Mascara, Blackest Black
This mascara is more subtle then the Falsies one.  I use it everyday for a softer finish.  It separates the lashes and gives them a nice fuller look.  As always make sure you curl your lashes before applying any mascara as it creates a better effect.

12. Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm 4.25g
This is a lip balm for those who love to have moisturized lips, which let's face it everyone wants. It smells great and it smoothes the lips and creates a nice tingling feeling.  The product is made up of natural ingredients and it conditions and nourishes.  I think lip balm is essential as it protects the lips and makes them feel soft.

Any drugstore products you enjoy...add a comment.

Product Rave: Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer

So I recently went to the mall and went inside Sephora!
I actually wanted to try out Laura Mercier's Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20, which is a sheer foundation, and very light weight.

I actually haven't bought the product yet as I just wanted to test it out before I spend the money. I wanted to try the Laura Mercier one specifically because they are known for their tinted moisturizer.  They also carry an original Tinted Moisturizer which is not Oil-Free.  They both come in ten shades to fit different skin tones, and the oil-free one is more targeted towards those who tend to get more oily.  I actually got two shades to try, Sand and Fawn.  I still am unsure about the difference between the shades because they both are so similar.

So far the product has not broken me out and considering my sensitive skin that is a major plus.  The product is very sheer however it just feel as if you are putting on an everyday moisturizer so the texture is very creamy and applies smoothly onto the face.  Obviously with those who want more coverage this product would not be recommended as it only hides minor flaws in the skin.  I actually don't mind that some of my scars/pigmentation show as it is getting warmer outside and putting on a full face of makeup is just not plausible to me.  It actually does give a nice summer glow to your skin which is fantastic!

After applying the product I do set it with a powder.
Some setting powders I have used:
- MAC's Mineralized SkinFinish
- Maybelline Dream Matte Powder (this is amazing for touch-ups)
- Cargo Wet/Dry Foundation

I just love this product and I probably will be picking up a full-size of it soon, once I finish my samples.

So if your looking for some everyday sheer coverage especially for the upcoming warm months I would recommended checking out this product.  Available at Sephora Counters and Holt Renfrew.

Face Masks

So this month I have been obsessing over my skin.  I mean I want it to look flawless and blemish free especially while putting makeup on, because its good to have a clear face to work with. Anyways, my skincare regime has been a top priority to me because I feel like great skin = younger, fresher skin.  Since winter has been so brutal our skin gets damaged because of such harsh weather and the key to looking more youthful is making sure first and foremost that your skin is a top priority.  Make-up can only hide so much, you must also take some initiative.

My obsession for this month has been face masks.  I actually went to Wal-mart last month and was browsing their skin care aisle and came across them.  They retail for approx. $1.50- $1.99

The face masks are by the company Purederm, a japanese company.  The masks come in variety selections depending on skin types and issue you may have.  Some face masks are for firming, age defying, hydrating, moisturizing etc.  I picked up almost all of the varieties that they had because I was so excited to try them.

So basically a face mask when opened is a thin sheet which you place on your face.  There are holes in them for your eyes, mouth and nose so they don't obstruct those areas.  The mask is infused with different ingredients to nourish the skin.   The mask depending on which you buy is kept on the face for 15-20mins (instructions on the back).  Once you take off the mask you can either wash your face or leave the residue on.

After trying my first face mask my face felt refreshed and just felt clean.  It also felt very soft and hydrated.

I would recommend these masks for anyone who wants some home relaxation and spa treatment at their fingertips.  So take some time out of your day and relax while your skin gets pampered :)

Product Rave: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle

I had a little time today so I thought I would rave about a product I have been loving.  It’s actually a hair care product that I have been using for over a year now.

It’s called Aussie 3 Minute Miracle.  It comes in a purple cylinder bottle and it contains 35ml of product. I would say the product lasted me 5 months however I do not use it everyday.   I am currently using my 2nd bottle of this conditioner and its almost finished!!

This product is a deep conditioner for your hair and it gives great results.   I don’t use any of the Aussie shampoo or conditioners but this product is amazing. I have tried other Aussie Styling products, which are amazing as well.

So basically a deep conditioner is like an extra strength conditioner used for your hair to nourish it and restore your hair from damage (dry or brittle).  It makes your hair silky, smooth, soft and shiny.  It also helps with detangling untamed hair, which is awesome specially when combing your hair after a shower.  The product with my experience does not cause your hair to fall out, as I have experienced some deep conditioners that have.

I love the smell of it and it’s a great to use once or twice a week.  You could however use the product as often as you like and make it your daily conditioner alongside your shampoo.  I however have a different set of shampoo and conditioner, and whenever I feel like my hair needs some nourishment I use the product.
The packaging is also amazing.  It’s basically a non-spill proof bottle and you just squeeze out the product when needed.  No cap and no mess, especially since you would be keeping it in your shower.

I have not seen it around in stores, but I work at a pharmacy and I actually asked them to order it from me from the catalogue.  This product retails for around $3.99 however price depends on where it is purchased.  Also, www.drugstore.com is an awesome website to get any drugstore products that you may not necessarily find available in Canada.  I have purchased products from this website and it is reliable, safe, and affordable.

Just a tip: Because you have to wait 3 minutes while the product is penetrating in your hair, at times it may seem tedious to wait that long.  My tip is to make sure you rinse out the product well especially if you are planning to wash your hair right after or after one minute of it in your hair.  This way there is no residue build-up.  I personally don’t wait the full 3 minutes, too be honest I don’t even know unless I count if 3 minutes are up.  So it all depends on you.

Can you recommend any Aussie products?
Have you tried any hair care products that you just cannot live without??
Comments and Questions are always welcome

Foundation Series #6: Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup

So today's review will be for Urban Decay's Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup in the colour Vision.  This product comes with 0.30oz of product.  This was my very first mineral makeup I ever purchased.  It retails for $35.  It comes in 11 shades to fit a variety of skin colours.

This foundation is a mineral foundation, it comes with a sponge tip puff built in so that there is no mess.  It also includes an on and off switch so you just turn the bottle and it helps keep the powder secure and set.  The coverage is amazing and very buildable.   Mineral foundation is said to be a lot better than liquid foundation as it can be used on oily, sensitive or dry skin types.

So how to use this foundation?
This foundation is easy to use and since it comes with a built in puff applicator so applying it requires no brushes and no mess.  You lift the round lid and there is a white puff sponge and you tap it on your skin and apply accordingly.

Results?
The results you get when using this is awesome.  The foundation is flawless and gives you an even skin tone.  It is very buildable so you can start off with applying a little and then gradually apply as needed.  The coverage was awesome for me.  The foundation is very light weight, it is a mineral powder so it doesn't feel like much on your face.
Where I live it is winter right now so I found that the foundation doesn't crack due to the harsh winds and it still stays in place.  Also the foundation is matte so you don't have to worry about those "shiny" days, even still you can always apply it again during the day if needed.

Cons?

I love how the puff is built in, but after a while of using the foundation I find that it will get dirty.  That is the only problem with the built in puff, however you can screw the top off where the puff is and dip a brush in and use it that way too.  I wish they sold a separate puff so that if it got dirty you could just replace it.

Tips:
I know urban decay sells a razor sharp finishing powder to set the makeup which would be nice to apply after this foundation.  I have not tried it yet but it comes in the same packaging and I think it would work wonders.

Hope this helps and happy foundation searching =)

Foundation Series #5: Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet+ Matifying Foundation

So I am back !
I know it has been awhile and I apologize, school has just taken over.

Alright so today I will be continuing with my Foundation series, and this one is for the Make Up For Ever(MUFE) Mat Velvet+ Matifying Liquid Foundation.  I got this foundation from Sephora and it retails for $40.

The foundation comes with 30ml of product, it is oil-free and water resistant.

The reason I purchased this foundation was mainly because it claimed to be a "matifying" foundation, and since the majority of the time my skin gets oily due to makeup I decided to give it a try.
This foundation is a liquid foundation it is full coverage however it is build-able so if you require more coverage or less coverage it is up to you.

So how to use this foundation?
When you open the bottle there is a squeeze tube so there is no mess when it comes to this foundation.  I usually apply a pea size amount to start off on my hand and dip my brush into the product and then apply it to my face.  I recommended using a brush as it is a liquid foundation however everyone's preferences are different.  Apply the foundation wherever necessary on your face and you can set it with a powder.

Results?
The results are awesome! My face looked matte and there was no shine to be seen.  I liked the finish because I could then add a highlighter without my face looking shiny everywhere so it was tamed.  The foundation was easy to apply and glided smoothly onto my face.  The coverage was great and build-able and it looked flawless.  I didn't necessarily have to put a setting powder as the foundation set itself nicely, however out of habit I decided to just put some on.  Honestly, this foundation has great coverage and feels very light on the face so you don't have that heavy foundation feeling.  This foundation lasts without having to touch up or having to blot your face.  Just remember these results were individual to my skin type everyone has different results.

Cons?
To be honest I have no negatives about the foundation.  The coverage was nice and the packaging was also great.  Good Job MUFE !

Tips:
Make sure that you get the correct shade for your skin colour.  There are plenty of make-up artists at Sephora to help you out with choosing the right one for you.  This foundation alone has 16 different shades so you are bound to find something.  Also, if you are at a Sephora store if you ask they can give you a small sample to try out the foundation so if you end up liking it you can buy it otherwise you can skip it.  I think this is awesome because then you are saving money and time in case it doesn't work out for you.  Another thing to remember is that Sephora has a great return policy, if you lose your receipt or even used the product they will still take it back so it's great to know what just in case.

Hope this helps and happy foundation searching =)

Exfoliators

Today I have decided to discuss exfoliators and exfoliating in general.  I think people take this lightly when in actual fact exfoliating is helpful in keeping your skin healthy.

Exfoliating is basically removing dead skin from the outer surface of your skin.  This would create a glow to your skin, provide the skin with a smooth and soft look, fresher, brighter looking skin, prevent breakouts and prevent ingrown hairs.  This also helps the skin sink in the moisturizer when you are applying it.

There are many ways to exfoliate your skin you can use cleansers/scrubs with micro beads, you can get facial peels at spas or even at home or you can use microdermabrasion products.  The products with micro beads consist of finely abrasive ingredients to help remove the dead cells from the skin.

How to Exfoliate:
1.     Dampen your skin with water
2.     Apply the scrub onto hands and massage in circular motions onto face and/or body
3.     Scrub until grains have disappeared and penetrated into skin
4.     Rinse face/body thoroughly with water
5.     Apply moisturizer to create smooth, soft moisturized skin

I would recommend exfoliating every other day, sometimes exfoliating too often might cause the skin to become inflamed and dry because of the scrubbing.  In the winter you could reduce this to 2-3 times a week because of the harshness of the weather your skin could become more sensitive.  Also make sure especially on the face that you are not scrubbing too hard as the skin is sensitive, so be gentle when exfoliating you want to create smooth, soft skin not cause dry patches.

Recommendations:
I have tried a number of exfoliating products both for the body and face all of which I would re-purchase because they have worked for me.

1.    St. Ives Apricot Scrub
I think this the most famous facial scrub out there.  It smells great and the fine granules are not too abrasive to cause damage to your skin.  St. Ives has a variety of scrubs for the face depending on your skin type. They also have body scrubs that can be bought in a tube like bottle and also a tub container.  They also carry many body washes, which include exfoliating beads to help when you are showering.  St. Ives can be bought at any drugstore, they are reasonably priced and the product gives the skin a smooth, radiant look.

2.    Soap & Glory Flake Away Spa Body Polish 300ml
This is a product, which originally came from the UK and they carry a variety of skincare products.  The names of the products are hilarious and the products are great.  This particular exfoliator is specifically used for the body and it comes in a tub container.  It smells really good and it leaves the skin very smooth.  The product contains Shea Butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar.  It retails for  $9.99 and is available at Shoppers Drug Mart.

3.    Laura Mercier Face Polish 3.5oz
This exfoliator is specifically for the face, it is a higher brand so the price would be a reflection of that.  Although it is targeted for the face you can use it on the body as well.  This scrub can be used everyday as the grains are not abrasive enough to cause the face any harm.  The grains are small and they disappear quickly when massaged into the skin.  The scrub has a very creamy consistency and it smells great.  It also can be used as a replacement for a cleanser so it works as a 2in1 product both as a cleanser and an exfoliator.  This product is available at Holt Renfrew stores (in Canada) and retails for about $35.00.

4.    Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash
This product could also be considered as one of the higher end products, as it’s not readily available at drugstores.  Philosophy has great skincare as well as cosmetic products and I have used their cleansers and moisturizers so I am familiar with their products.  This exfoliating wash like the Laura Mercier Face Polish can be used everyday as the granules are very fine and cannot do harm to the skin if used everyday.  This can be used as a cleanser depending on your preference.  Because of the fine grains this exfoliator is very gentle even for the most sensitive skin types.  I am not too fond of the smell of this exfoliator however it does do the job and you will get use to it.  It gives the skin a smooth, soft surface and leaves it moisturized.  It gives the skin a very clean feel.  This product is available at Sephora stores and also on the Philosophy website, the price starts at $27 and increases depending on the size of the bottle.   Just a note Philosophy has great skincare starter kits to introduce you to the line that are reasonably priced so that way you can try a variety of products including this one.

Foundation Series #4: Lancome Oscillation Power Foundation

Next foundation review will be on the Lancome Oscillation Powder Foundation.  This foundation is a "vibrating" foundation in which it's sponge is battery operated to provide smooth, flawless results upon application. The foundation has SPF 21 and contains aloe and Vitamin E and comes with 3.5g worth of product.  This would be considered another gimmick targeting the consumer however it does do the job and the results are phenomenal.

So basically the foundation has a wand type sponge and a tiny button located on the wand which activates the vibrating motion.  The vibrations are suppose to break down the mineral makeup to blend into the skin effortlessly.  It creates a no-makeup feel and look.  It works well with all skin types and even with sensitive skin.

So how to use this foundation?
Well first you will remove the cap and you will be left with two parts the wand/brush and the container in which the powder is kept in.  You place the wand/brush applicator in the barrel of foundation and you shake it till you get the product onto the brush.  After you can tap off any excess powder and put the brush to your face, press the button to begin the vibrations and apply in circular motions around the face. If you desire more coverage then you can repeat the steps again until you are satisfied.
As always apply a primer and or moisturizer before applying any foundation onto the skin.

Results:
I found the results of this foundation to be amazing.  The application is smooth, no mess and definitely an air-brushed look was achieved.  My skin looked and felt great.  The brush is very soft and smooth and glides nicely on to the skin.  It also makes my foundation look natural and flawless.  The foundation stays all day long and it is also the powder controls oil on the face.  I did have to apply concealer on my acne scars and pigmentation areas however it did give my face an overall great look.

Cons?
I do however have one problem with this foundation and that is that is a bit pricey.  It retails in Canada for $65 and the only reason I even considered buying it was because I had a gift card to The Bay.  I have never dished out this much money for a foundation.  I do think if you are not willing to spend the money for the foundation there are other mineral powder foundations out there that could probably give the same results.

Tips:
I did ask the lady at the Lancome counter if the wand/brush would run out of battery and she said it would not run out anytime soon.  I have had mine for more than six months and it works perfectly.  Since this is a mineral/powder foundation it would last a long time so for the price it would be worth it. Before buying it I do recommend asking the people at the counter to test which colour you would be and if they could apply it for you before you buy it.  Since this is a big purchase you should test it out and see if you like the results in case it is not something which you are looking.  Also you can try other makeup counters and see if you find something within your budget.

Hope this helped.  Any comments or questions let me know :)

Foundation Series: #3 CoverGirl's Natureluxe Foundation

Today's foundation review is on Cover girl's Natureluxe Foundation.

I hope this is helping some of you in deciding what type of foundation you prefer to wear or at least saving you some money when it comes to picking up the right one for you.

I just wanted to mention that this again is my opinion and if these products worked for me it might work for some of you.  Everyone has different skin tones and skin types and preferences so always go into the store and check it out yourself.

This foundation has SPF 10 and is it enriched with hints of natural jojoba, rosehip & seal buckthorn extracts.  This is a drugstore foundation and it retails for $12.99 but can vary depending on where you get it from.

This is a liquid foundation and it comes in 14 shades to match most skin types.  I am in the colour Maple.  This foundation smells awesome, it doesn't have a bad scent to it so when applying you won't feel gross.  This foundation applies very well, it is smooth, it doesn't set into fine lines or create flakes on the skin.  It feels very hydrating and lightweight on the skin.  The foundation blends easily into my skin and it is very buildable so you can layer the foundation according to the coverage you need.  It doesn't feel like you packed on layers on your face and the makeup does last all day.  My skin actually felt very soft after I applied the foundation which was nice as sometimes you can't even touch your face after you have applied foundation.

Please feel free to comment below if you have tried this foundation, or if you have any questions :)

Foundation Series: #2 MAC Studio Fix Fluid

Hello Make-up Junkies, so here is review #2 on my foundation series.

The second foundation I will be reviewing is MAC's Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 in color NC35.  This foundation retails for $31.00.  MAC is one of the cheaper "high-end" brands compared to others such as clinique, YSL, etc.  This foundation was my very first liquid foundation that I purchased.

Alright, onto the review.  The foundation comes in an array of colours depending on skin tone and undertone of your skin, which is a plus because you would be able to match your skin well.  It comes in a 30ml glass bottle.  The thing about this foundation is that if you don't buy a foundation pump to replace the lid, applying the foundation could be hard and messy as you would have to pour it in the lid or possibly on your hand.  I would recommend buying a foundation pump which is available also by MAC.

The foundation is very thick, creamy and easy to apply.  It has a faint smell so you would have to get use to the smell of the foundation.  The coverage of this is amazing! If you like full coverage makeup or you have blemishes you want to conceal and cannot find something which would cover them all, this is your foundation.  You can apply a thin layer and then apply as needed until you have the desired coverage so its very build able.  I did however find this foundation too heavy, I mean I like to cover up any blemishes of redness, etc. however it just got too much for me.  I would however sometimes wear it on special occasions but for everyday wear this is just not something I would put on.  It does feel like you are wearing makeup when you are wearing this which I do not like.

Anyways, what I like about it is that it has an SPF and that MAC foundations have the same color scheme so if you wanted a concealer the same color as your foundation it is possible to find the match.

To apply to the foundation I would use the MAC Foundation Brush in #190, however there are plenty of other foundation brushes which would do the job.  I'll discuss brushes in another blog post :) Also, note I did find that you needed to put on a good primer on before applying the foundation.  Also, I would recommend always no matter what foundation you are wearing to carry a pressed powder for touch-ups during the day especially if you are wearing it on a regular basis.  Obviously everyone has there preferences, so just a suggestion.

I would recommend this foundation for anyone looking for full coverage however I do think there are better ones out there.  I have heard instances where people break out because of MAC products, I have not had a problem with this foundation however I have had it with one of MACs concealers.

Have a good day :)
